Advantage are currently recruiting a skilled CNC Miller, for one of our clients in the Lancashire area. This role will be a Permanent position, for the right candidate.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts.
Duties:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning and milling
*
Interpret drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
*
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling
*
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
*
Make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and machine performance
*
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
*
Troubleshoot issues with machines or equipment as needed
*
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a CNC Milling Machinist or similar role
*
Proficient in the use of CNC programming software
*
Strong knowledge of tooling and machining processes
*
Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications
*
Experience with Haas/Fanuc is preferred but not essential
*
Ability to perform basic assembly tasks as required
Hours, salary & Benefits:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00/ Friday 07:30 – 12:30, plus overtime as required
