Advantage Group are working in partnership with a modular housing builder in Coventry. We are looking for a number of people to join their Twilight team ASAP.
Based inside their large production plant in Coventry this role would suit somebody who wishes to enter the construction sector , receive training and build themselves a genuine career.
If you already have construction sector experience this is an opportunity to develop you skills further as the role is multi trade and you will be involved in various aspects of the construction of the modular houses.
The main purpose of this role is to provide labour and support on the factory floor in the production of modular housing units and conducting manual work relative to the modular units and preparation of the factory ahead of planned production.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
* Various preparation tasks for modular completion such as collection of tools and equipment from Stores
* Support with the steel assembly where required and once trained in this aspect of the build
* Preparation of factory ahead of planned building work by ensuring work areas are cleared
* Conducting manual work relative to work required for the modular units
* Unloading building materials from trucks when they are delivered to the factory
* Installation of insulation and membrane materials for the modular units
* Supporting Multi-Skilled Operatives with various tasks in the factory
* Drilling and fixing of fasteners
* General housekeeping and clearing of areas to ensure that the factory floor is free of hazards
* Practice safety and have awareness of Health & Safety regulations
Due to the nature of this role you will need to be physically fit , be able to multi task and work to production targets.
