Due to rapid growth our client is looking for a National Business Development Manager. This is a great opportunity to join the team through a field-based role, reporting directly to the Business Development Director.
The main role of the National Business Development Manager is to implement the sales and marketing strategy of the organisation, promoting core pre-employment standards and increasing engagement of small and medium sized employers.
Main Responsibilities
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services across all revenue streams (Apprenticeships, Traineeships, AEB and Distance Learning).
• Assist and support in the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of apprenticeship and full cost programmes, undertaking organisational Needs Analysis to support on the design and implementation of training programmes to meet employer’s needs.
• Report individual sales and performance data and forward-looking forecasts on an ongoing basis, working with senior management to meet budgeted targets and growth plans across all areas.
• Complete the necessary checks on employers to ensure suitability for training and/or recruitment, and ensuring all data requirements are maintained and records are up to date.
• Ensure employers are complaint with ESFA funding rules, as well as assisting employers in the management of their Digital Apprenticeship Service account.
The Ideal Candidate
• Proven experience in a B2B sales environment with the ability to win new business in the FE and Training sector, especially adult provision.
• Consistent overachievement of sales targets and the ability to work to tight deadlines using strong organisational skills.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with strong communication of services we offer and selling points that make us stand out within the market.
• Recognised Sales Qualifications at Level 2 or above.
• A full UK driving license and car
